About the role
This position requires a commitment of 25 hours per week. The role involves working within the Special Education department and includes a mandatory training component.
Requirements
- Willingness to take Special Education training.
- Must complete Basic Training (5 hours) provided by the JSD Special Education Department within one week of hire as a condition of employment.
- Must complete an additional 40 hours of training (available through the Special Education department) within six (6) months from the hire date as a condition of employment.
Pay
- Lane 4, Step 1: $21.33 per hour (effective July 1, 2026).
- Completion of the additional 40 hours of training allows the employee to increase to lane 5.
