Instructional Assistant Mild/Mod I PT

About the role

This position involves working with students in small groups and handling sensitive files and paperwork. The role requires 25 hours per week.

Requirements

• Willingness to obtain needed certifications (training provided by District)
• Strong communication skills
• Must complete Basic Training (5 hours) provided by JSD Special Education Department within one week of hire as a condition of employment

Qualifications

• Additional training available through the Special Education department allowing the employee to increase to lane 4 upon completion

Pay

Lane 3 Step 1: $19.94 per hour (effective July 1, 2026)
