About the role

The Instructional Assistant Intensive Behavioral Instruction (IBI) supports students with the highest behavioral needs, implementing ABA methodologies and other specialized strategies to promote independence, compliance, and positive behavioral changes.

Responsibilities

• Supports students in both special education and general education classrooms.
• Assists in achieving learning, safety, and daily functioning goals for students with severe needs.

Requirements / Qualifications

• MUST ATTACH PROOF OF: - Passing the CBEST, or - Having completed two years of college (48 units), or - An AA degree or higher, or - Must have passed the District proficiency exam in mathematics, reading, and writing prior to the job posting closing date.
