Published Date November 13, 2020 to June 30, 2026 Job Type Full time Salary Range $23,856—$40,444 annually Instructional Assistant WRSD is looking for an instructional assistant that will provide classroom support to the teacher and students. This position is full time, following the school year calendar (183 days). Primary Duties Assist in implementing developmental play, academic, behavioral, social, pre-vocational, vocational, self-help skills, and academic tutoring.Duties will include sharing responsibility in the gathering of materials for activities, bus, recess and lunch.Participate in school meetings, workshops and other in-service training sessions.May assume preparation for daily lessons and activities under direct supervision.Facilitate the students’ learning throughout the campus environment. Requirements High school diploma.Fluent sign language skills.Comfortable utilizing a total communication approach. Salary will be based on degree(s) and experience.
