Instructional Assistant

About the role

An Instructional Assistant assists teachers in conducting general classroom activities.

Requirements

• Two years of post‑secondary education with a minimum of 60 credits.
• Experience working with diverse student groups.
• Experience with and appreciation of students and staff from racially, ethnically, and linguistically diverse backgrounds.
• Understanding of students' unique needs.
• Fluency in multiple languages strongly encouraged.

Pay

Salary range: $21.84 to $26.00 per hour, based on experience and qualifications. Most candidates start at the entry‑level rate of $21.84 per hour; candidates with related‑field experience may start up to $22.57 per hour; those with direct experience in this role may exceed $22.57 per hour, determined case‑by‑case.

Schedule

Monday, Wednesday, Friday: 8:30 AM – 11:30 AM; Tuesday, Thursday: 9:30 AM – 12:30 PM.
