INSTRUCTIONAL AIDE SDC M/M

Site: Highland Elementary School

Term: 5.75 hours per day

Responsibilities and Duties

• Assists individuals and small groups of students with instructional tasks
• Assists with classroom management and record keeping
• Provides specialized attention, support, and assistance to children with identified health concerns
• Other work as assigned

Requirements

• Two years of study at an institution of higher education, or an Associate’s or higher degree, or pass a formal state or local academic assessment demonstrating knowledge of and ability to assist in teaching reading, writing, and mathematics (or readiness)
• CPR training

Pay

Range 11, Step 1: $18.66 per hour (additional $0.32 per hour in lieu of benefits)

Applicants selected will be required to complete a pre-placement medical assessment, TB clearance, and fingerprint clearance.
