(INSTORE) Member Service Representative/Relationship Officer - Tigard

Responsibilities

• Proactively supports the branch team with exceptional member service.
• Opens new consumer and business accounts, including Fiduciary, IRA’s, CD’s, checking, and loans.
• Focuses on retention of current loan and deposit business and develops new consumer and business relationships.
• Listens, identifies, processes, and recommends solutions to member needs.
• Takes initiative to utilize all available resources to ensure members are assisted completely.
• Performs account and loan maintenance, assists with submitting necessary documentation, and conducts outbound calling to members.
• Acts as a liaison between members and off-site employees and departments to resolve issues, assist with courtesy signings, and complete required forms and documents.
• Listens for cross-sell opportunities and refers to appropriate staff members as needed.
• Maintains cash drawer and balances within guidelines established by Credit Union.
• Performs any additional duties as required by the Branch Management Team.

Job Qualifications

• A high school diploma or GED is required.
• A minimum of 1-2 years previous financial institution experience is preferred.
• Retail sales or customer service position involving cash experience is beneficial.
• Bilingual skills are a plus.
• Ability to successfully register with the National Mortgage Licensing System (NMLS) is required.

• Demonstrated knowledge and experience with financial and lending operating systems.
• Strong interpersonal communication skills and ability to give exceptional member service.
• Effective teamwork and ability to work independently to meet and exceed set goals.
• Ability to coordinate and complete multiple tasks simultaneously and prioritize work.
• Self-directed and works under limited direct supervision.

Additional Information

• Hours of Operations: Monday - Friday 9 AM - 6 PM, Saturdays 9 AM - 3 PM.
• This OnPoint branch is located inside a Fred Meyer or Safeway store.
• Employees working at an in-store location receive a 10% In-store Differential.
• The In-store Differential is subject to change or dissolution at any time.
