About the role

Develop automated procurement systems for a national network of fast paced fulfillment centers specializing in sub same day delivery. Support national network of fulfillment centers and optimize inbound operations. Use inventory management software, purchasing software, and automation systems to purchase and maintain required drug inventory at national and metropolitan fulfillment centers. Engage in process improvements to increase efficiency and effectiveness of product development and supply chain processes. Conduct ongoing analytics and analysis to ensure accurate lead time, safety stock, review cycle, order methods, min/max points, and usage. Forecast and manage efficient inbound inventory flows and health for existing/new manufacturer programs. Build and maintain knowledge management tools such as wikis and shared drives. Provide peer feedback and coaching to new team members.

Responsibilities

  • Develop automated procurement systems for a national network of fast paced fulfillment centers specializing in sub same day delivery.
  • Deep dive purchasing automation and assess and fix failures while maintaining key business metrics.
  • Support national network of fulfillment centers and optimize inbound operations.
  • Purchase and maintain required drug inventory at national and metropolitan fulfillment centers using inventory management software, purchasing software, and automation systems.
  • Engage in process improvements to continually increase efficiency and effectiveness of product development and supply chain processes.
  • Ongoing analytics and analysis to ensure accurate lead time, safety stock, review cycle, order methods, min/max points, and usage.
  • Forecast and manage efficient inbound inventory flows and health for the existing/new manufacturer programs.
  • Build and maintain knowledge management tools such as wikis and shared drives.
  • Regularly provide peer feedback and coaching to new team members inside/outside of their business unit or functional team.
  • Build and influence future roadmap (incl. strategy, tooling, etc).

Requirements

  • A Master’s degree or foreign equivalent in Industrial Engineering, Logistics, Supply Chain Management or related discipline followed by one year of experience in the job offered or in a supply chain management occupation.
  • In the alternative, a Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent in Industrial Engineering, Logistics, Supply Chain Management or related discipline with three years of experience in the job offered or in a supply chain management occupation.
  • One year of experience in each of the following:
  • Supply chain management.
  • Experience with an indirect/direct procurement function.
  • Expertise with Generative AI systems to manage supply chain data.
  • Oral and written business communication.
  • Purchasing, including supplier relationship management.
  • Influencing and negotiating with vendors in complex supply chains.

Qualifications

Benefits

Base pay range for this position in Seattle, WA is $96949 - $128300 (yr); however, base pay offered may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. A sign-on bonus and restricted stock units may be provided as part of the compensation package, in addition to a full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits, dependent on the position offered. This information is provided by Washington Equal Pay Act.
