Responsibilities

• Assist in the organization, installation, maintenance, and de-installation of art exhibitions on and off campus
• Welcome gallery visitors
• Handle artwork
• Perform general cleaning duties
• Move gallery furniture
• Occasional painting of art pedestals
• Climb ladders
• Perform design work when applicable
• Photograph exhibitions and events

Requirements

• Effective organizational and communication skills
• Minimal knowledge of Google Docs, Drive, and Sheets

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with Adobe Creative Suite software
• Interest in a visually creative work environment
• Willingness to speak to gallery visitors and inform them about the exhibitions

Physical Demands

• Medium work (up to 50 lbs. occasionally or 30 lbs frequently or 10 lbs constantly)
• Close visual acuity (e.g., computer, assembly)

Work Environment

• Moderate noise
• Typical office or administrative conditions

Pay

$15.00 per hour

Monday - Saturday; Flexible
