Job Description
The Institutional Services Relationship Consultant at Regions is responsible for direct contact with external account holders, overseeing client relationships, and managing trust accounts.
Primary Responsibilities
- Oversees client relationships on an assigned book of trust accounts
- Prospects and develops internal and external business networks to identify opportunities to enhance the profitability of the trust book of business
- Affords assistance with the review of potential new business and the closure of existing accounts, which may require guidance from more senior consultants
- Manages the set-up, implementation, and administration of trusts, ensuring account administration follows fiduciary principles
- Supplies Portfolio Managers with documentation of non-standard asset reviews for Annual Investment reviews and leads the investment review exceptions process
- Facilitates the non-discretionary and discretionary distribution processes with approval authority of $25,000 or less
- Instructs the designated person or unit on the disposition of check(s) from their assigned trust accounts
- Serves as a partner to Wealth Management associates in the field, specializing in Retirement, Philanthropic Solutions, Corporate Trust, Custody, Asset Management, or Funeral Trust services
- Coordinates administrative functions with attorneys, co-trustees, investment advisors, and CPAs
- Performs duties in compliance with Corporate Policies and Procedures and Institutional Services Program Documents and Procedures and all applicable external regulations
Requirements
- High School Diploma and one (1) year of Trust or closely related experience
- Bachelor's degree in a related field preferred
- Experience in Trust Administration and Institutional/Retirement Services Administration preferred
- Experience in Transactions including GST, 65-day elections, LLC’s and Partnerships, Decantings or Modifications, and 5/5 Powers preferred
- Familiarity with governing/applicable laws and regulations preferred
- Professional designations and/or certifications preferred

Compensation Details
Pay ranges are job specific and are provided as a point-of-market reference for compensation decisions. Other factors which directly impact pay for individual associates include: experience, skills, knowledge, contribution, job location and, most importantly, performance in the job role.
Other Information
- Minimum Job Range Target: $46,703.25 USD
- Middle Job Range Target: $63,130.00 USD
- This position is exempt from timekeeping requirements under the Fair Labor Standards Act and is not eligible for overtime pay.
