About the role
USBAM is currently seeking a Relationship Manager to serve as the key point of contact to institutional clients in Florida & the Southeast. This individual will be charged with leading and strengthening client engagements. The relationship manager will establish and maintain client interface with CFOs, Finance Directors, and Investment Committees, providing capital market and economic updates, performance reviews, cash flow analysis advice, investment policy documentation, and investment strategy development.
The relationship manager works closely with the client service and portfolio management team to retain and grow existing assets, while taking the lead on managing the client review process.
Responsibilities
- Establish and maintain relationships with decision makers and primary contacts for assigned book of business.
- Coordinate information flow between staff, clients, and USBAM project and product managers on a regular basis.
- Coordinate preparation of client reports and other written communications.
- Present reports and other materials to clients at meetings.
- Analyze various options to come up with optimal investment solutions for our clients.
- Oversee and present investment analyses including performance, cash flow, and security analysis.
- Create innovative ways of educating clients and prospects on current market events and investment opportunities.
- Present and discuss thought leadership.
- Inform and educate clients about USBAM products and services.
- Support other sales, marketing, and service activities as appropriate.
Requirements
- Typically a bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
- Experience in portfolio management, sales, marketing, or relationship management with institutional clients (Business to Business environment).
- Must be FINRA series 6 or 7, 63 licensed or complete 6 or 7, 63 testing within 120 days of start date.
- Typically has 10 or more years of experience.
Preferred Skills/Experience
- Capital Markets knowledge and experience.
- Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) designation.
- In-depth knowledge of the company's products and services.
- Strong relationship management and business development/sales skills.
- Well-developed analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work effectively with individuals and groups in managing customer relationships.
- Excellent presentation, verbal, and written communication skills.
Schedule
This role offers a hybrid/flexible schedule, which means there's an in-office expectation of 3 or more days per week and the flexibility to work outside the office location for the other days. This position also requires 5 or more hours of driving per week.

Pay
The salary range reflects figures based on the primary location, which is listed first. The actual range for the role may differ based on the location of the role. Pay Range: $103,950.00 - $127,050.00.
