Institutional Consulting Analyst

Duties And Responsibilities

• Provide coverage for a Graystone team including assisting in client service model delivery.
• Track follow-ups and prepare for regular meetings.
• Backup coverage for traditional registered or unregistered Client Service Associate responsibilities.
• Execute money movement transactions, answer non-investment related questions, educate or enroll clients in digital tools, accept or enter unsolicited and solicited orders.
• Stay current on policies, procedures, and new platforms.
• Contribute to client/account presentations with updates and information on investment managers.
• Support business development by executing administrative elements of digital and in-person marketing strategies.
• Create and review institutional client reports or financial plans.
• Assist with research using firm-approved systems.
• Participate in client and/or prospective client meetings.
• Engage in firm initiatives like training or education programs.

Education, Experience, Knowledge, And Skills

• 5+ years of experience in a field relevant to the position required.
• A Four-year college degree or professional certification preferred.
• Series 7 (GS), Series 66 (AG/RA), Series 63 (AG), Series 65 (RA) required.
• Additional product licenses may be required.
• Willingness to obtain CIMA or CFA designations.
• Knowledge of financial services products and services, including portfolio performance measurement.
• Technically proficient and quick learner of new and updated platforms.
• Detail oriented with superior organizational skills and ability to prioritize.
• Expert knowledge of basic personal computer, MS Office (particularly MS Excel) and internet applications.
• Exceptional writing, interpersonal, and client service skills.
• Strong time management skills.
• Team player with the ability to collaborate with others.
• Adaptable and able to multi-task.
• Goal oriented, self-motivated, and results driven.
