Institutional Client Service Representative
Role Overview
The Institutional Client Service Representative supports institutional clients across Stable Value and Guaranteed Products business lines. Key responsibilities include accurate trade processing, resolving service-related issues, and providing high-quality client support.
Training & Development
You will receive training, ongoing coaching, and mentoring to develop expertise in institutional products, contract provisions, and transaction processing. A supportive environment fosters skill-building and career advancement within Client Services and the Institutional Investments team.
What You'll Do
- Process annuity requests for Group Annuity contracts according to contractual provisions.
- Handle inbound/outbound calls from customer service lines, addressing institutional and individual annuitant inquiries.
- Provide up-to-date information for Institutional clients, including pricing, interest calculations, account balances, audit inquiries, annuity quotes, and tax filing information.
- Build and maintain high-quality internal and external customer relationships, assessing and responding to client needs effectively.
- Develop an understanding of operational procedures, company, industry, and regulatory policies, and communicate relevant information to clients.
- Maintain a strong working knowledge of multiple applications, products, and services, and ensure files are managed in accordance with company policies.
- Support the Stable Value Service group.
What You'll Bring
- Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent business experience.
- General knowledge of Group Annuity Contracts and/or Stable Value Contracts (a plus).
- General knowledge of Pension Plans (Defined Benefit/Contribution) (a plus).
- Excellent time management, organizational, and multi-tasking skills.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to perform in a high-volume, fast-paced call center environment.
- Result-oriented and a team player.
- Ability to adapt quickly and remain effective in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
- Demonstrated ability to apply technical industry knowledge to day-to-day issues and leverage technology for improved service delivery.
- Flexible and resilient in a changing environment.
- Willingness to assist with department initiatives and cross-functional projects, contributing subject matter expertise and insights.
Pay & Benefits
Salary Range: $45,000-$52,000
Overtime eligible: Nonexempt
Discretionary bonus eligible: Yes
Sales bonus eligible: No
Actual base salary will be determined based on several factors but not limited to individual’s experience, skills, qualifications, and job location.
Additionally, employees are eligible for an annual discretionary bonus. In addition to base salary, employees may also be eligible to participate in an incentive program.
