About the role
Everything we do is centered on providing a world-class homeowner experience through the process of installing Renewal by Andersen’s windows and doors.
Responsibilities
- Must have a valid Driver’s License; will be required to deliver product to satellite locations using a company truck on a weekly basis.
- Effectively prepares the jobsite for set-up and tear-down to assure work can be performed in an efficient and safe manner and the worksite is left clean.
- Assess jobsite for hazards prior to commencement of work and address hazards as needed.
- Consistently maintain productivity expectations.
- Collaborate with other installers on the project throughout the installation to maximize efficiencies.
- Assist in delivering homeowner delight.
- Ensure jobsite safety practices and procedures are followed, including but not limited to PPE, fall protection, power tool use, and proper lifting requirements.
- Ability to pull tools, inspect, and stage all product types on the job as needed.
- Complete a daily tool audit.
- Set up and tear down tarps, runners, plastic, etc. (i.e., floor and furniture protections).
- Demonstrate responsible attendance and punctuality.
- Able to locate, identify, and load all necessary job site materials from material sheet.
- Perform proper opening preparation for all types of installations, including inserts and Full Frame with Brickmold.
- Perform basic aluminum bending (L flange, drip caps, flat rectangles/coil wrap).
- Understand and install proper flashing based on install method, including drip caps, L flange, and new construction.
- Make straight cuts to accurate dimensions within 1/32”.
- Safely extract old windows and doors without damaging property.
- Install Fibrex L trim, F trim, and Flat trim.
- Knowledge of service parts, procedures, and product operations.
- Audit all truck stock, tools, and products without supervision.
- Address installation concerns with Field Techs or Installation Manager.
- Maintain company vehicle in accordance with Fleet Policy.
- Provide general warehouse support.
- Perform technical measure functions when needed.
- Provide service support as needed.
- Provide directions to Installer Level I.
- Other duties as assigned.
Requirements
- High School Diploma or equivalent experience.
- Window and Door installation experience.
- Ability to dismantle and reassemble windows, window coverings, and hardware.
- General understanding and knowledge of OSHA regulations and safe work practices in construction environments.
- Safety knowledge of all equipment.
- Proper usage and understanding of PPE.
- Valid Driver’s License with ability to pass a fleet check.

Training
- CORO Safety and Compliance required training.
- First Aid/CPR – Every 2 years.
- OSHA 10-hr Construction Safety – Every 2 years.
- Ad hoc trainings as assigned.
Pay
$17.04 - $25.56 per hour.

Profit Sharing: In 2026, Andersen has set a profit-sharing target of $3,600 per eligible employee, prorated as appropriate. Profit Sharing will be paid out in quarterly installments, with payment amounts tied to quarterly operating profit performance.
