Installer

Essential Functions

• Install new and used Thermo King refrigeration units and related equipment according to established procedures and manufacturer specifications.
• Ensure all installations meet company quality standards and customer expectations.
• Troubleshoot and diagnose issues with installed or re-installed equipment using EDITH diagnostic software and other diagnostic tools.
• Perform preventative maintenance services, including inspections, oil changes, and equipment checks.
• Complete work orders accurately and thoroughly in accordance with company service policies.
• Communicate professionally and effectively with customers regarding installation progress and equipment operation.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
• Follow all company safety procedures and industry best practices.
• Assist with shop operations and other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Previous mechanical, installation, automotive, diesel, HVAC, or related experience preferred.
• Technical degree, vocational training, or industry certification is a plus.
• Experience working with refrigeration systems, electrical systems, or transport equipment is beneficial.

Abilities

• Strong mechanical aptitude and willingness to learn.
• Ability to use hand tools, power tools, diagnostic equipment, forklifts, and scissor lifts safely.
• Ability to work comfortably on ladders and at varying heights.
• Ability to lift, carry, and move equipment and components as required.
• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
• Ability to pass a DOT-approved physical examination.
• Must provide and maintain a basic set of hand tools and a toolbox.
