Installer - Entry Level

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Uses best practices in installation techniques for new construction and replacement projects.
• Assists in installing products ordered.
• Learns to interpret job installation reports.
• Ensures all customers are treated in a courteous and friendly manner.
• Maintains neat job-site practice.
• Learns job planning - including reviewing job work order assignments, calendar coordination, and route review.
• Aids in assessing installation and repair projects.
• Communicates with the service department on any changes to orders needed.
• Learns to take comprehensive photos of issues that allow for evaluations.
• Tests installations to ensure the product is in working order and to customer satisfaction.
• Responds to additional customer requests.
• Adheres to policies and procedures for documentation.

Requirements

• High school diploma or general education degree (GED/Trade School) a plus.
• NYS Drivers License.
• Residential construction and millwork experience a plus.
• Frequent standing and heavy lifting routinely required.

The expected salary range is $18.00 - $20.00. Compensation will be based on experience and other factors permitted by law.
