About the Role
As a Garage Door Installer at Precision Garage Door Services, you’ll receive training to quickly start with your own company vehicle and stream of customers. You’ll help customers by repairing, replacing, and installing garage doors, ensuring they understand their service options. This role offers autonomy, career growth, and control over your income.

Responsibilities
- Repair and install garage door parts and equipment on-site at customer locations.
- Diagnose issues and replace worn or broken parts, including springs and door operators.
- Educate customers on repair options and preventive measures.
- Sell services and new equipment using a proven good/better/best model.
- Collect payments from customers.
- Manage inventory, tools, and equipment in your vehicle.
- Maximize productivity by efficiently addressing customer needs and managing time.
- Ensure quality work and customer satisfaction to generate positive reviews.
- Commit to safety in driving and on-site work.
Requirements
- Mechanical aptitude and technical skills (preferred but not required).
- Ability to lift 50 pounds independently.
- Ability to bend, climb, kneel, and stand for extended periods.
- Comfort working in extreme temperatures (heat/cold) and non-temperature-controlled environments.
- Strong interpersonal skills to communicate effectively with customers.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and follow company processes.
- Basic computer/tablet proficiency.
- Experience with hand tools and mechanical equipment.
Garage door industry experience is preferred but not required—we provide training.
