Responsibilities
- Ensure proper labeling, routing, and dressing of cables for clean and professional outcomes.
- Install and bend EMT conduit to code using hand benders and power tools.
- Set up and configure equipment to ensure proper functionality and performance.
- Conduct tests to verify that installed equipment is operating correctly and troubleshoot any issues that arise.
- Diagnose and repair malfunctions in equipment, including replacing faulty parts and components.
- Maintain accurate records of installations, repairs, and maintenance activities, including documenting any changes made to equipment configurations.
- Adhere to safety protocols and regulations while installing and servicing equipment to prevent accidents and injuries.
- Provide excellent customer service by addressing client inquiries, explaining equipment functionality, and offering technical support as needed.
- Cook up with other team members, such as engineers, project managers, and sales staff, to ensure smooth installations and customer satisfaction.
- Axist with pulling, terminating, and testing structured cabling.
Requirements
- A high school diploma or equivalent.
- An associate degree in IT or related field preferred.
- At least three years of professional work experience in network maintenance and user technical support preferred.
- A+, Network+, and/or similar certifications highly preferred.
