Installer

Responsibilities

• Affixes fitness equipment to trucks from the warehouse.
• Unloads fitness equipment and transports it to the client facility.
• Installs and assembles equipment on-site as part of the installation team.
• Assists in removing equipment from the client location and returning it to the warehouse.
• Completes daily tasks such as filling out BOLs, inventorying returns, and folding equipment.
• Coordinates with the driver for directions, paperwork, and client communications.
• Ensures safety measures are taken during transportation and installations.
• Collects and organizes trash and dunnage upon completion of the job.
• Maintains tools and equipment provided by McCollister’s.

Requirements

• Minimum 1 year of experience working with fitness equipment.
• Experience working in a fitness environment.
• Mechanically inclined.
• Clean, safe driving record.
• Ability to lift up to 75 lbs.
• Positive communication skills.
• Competent computer and iPad skills.
• Effective communication at all organizational levels.
• Organized work habits.
• Proven track record of teamwork and autonomy.

Qualifications

• Outfitted in McCollister’s Fitness shirts and provided black shorts or pants.
• Must wear boots or work shoes with steel toe.
• Act professionally at all times, especially with clients.
• Strong work ethic.
• Willingness to learn new skills.
• Problem-solving and conflict resolution abilities.
• Team-oriented and committed to continuous improvement.
• Basic computer and typing skills for Microsoft Office and Google G Suite applications.
