About the role

Holy City Heating & Air, LLC is seeking a Lead HVAC Installer with at least 3 years of experience and a positive attitude. Located in downtown Charleston, we specialize in residential and commercial repair, maintenance, and retrofit equipment.

Responsibilities

• Perform high-quality residential and light commercial equipment replacements, including air handlers, condensers, package units, and ductwork
• Lead an installation apprentice, ensuring safe and efficient jobsite operations
• Deliver clean, professional workmanship that reflects the standards of Holy City Heating & Air
• Read blueprints and produce accurate material lists and takeoffs
• Install materials and equipment according to plans and manufacturer specifications
• Interpret equipment submittals and installation manuals
• Ensure installations meet code requirements and pass inspections
• Communicate clearly with customers, team members, and subcontractors
• Maintain company vehicles, tools, and equipment
• Provide management with accurate labor estimates for projects
• Identify and document change orders when needed
• Demonstrate strong knowledge of HVAC industry standards and best practices

Requirements

• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record
• Minimum 3+ years of HVAC installation experience
• Possess the hand tools necessary for the position
• Able to use Android/Apple devices for communication and field reporting
• Able to work in confined spaces (attics, crawlspaces, etc.)
• Able to climb and descend ladders safely
• Strong work ethic with a commitment to finishing jobs efficiently and correctly
• Organized, professional, and positive attitude
• Able to build and maintain strong customer relationships
• Able to work in fast-paced environments while maintaining quality workmanship

Qualifications

• Ability to work in hot environments
• Ability to remove existing equipment
• Ability to install and start up new systems up to 10 tons

Skills

• Knowledge of HVAC industry standards and best practices

Pay

$25.00 – $35.00 per hour, based on experience

Schedule

Monday–Friday 8-hour shifts
