PAY

$18 to $20 hourly with overtime and benefits.

Responsibilities

• Site prep work
• Simpler carpentry work
• Installation of all GDI product lines
• Aid in training, planning, assigning, and directing work for the Lead Installer
• Assist with the training, planning, assigning, and directing of work for the Lead Installer in accordance with GDI’s policies and installation practices
• May advance to Lead Installer if opportunities arise based on job knowledge, skill level, quality of performance, adherence to company policies and procedures, safety, and attendance
• Responsible for the behavior and performance of the crew, evaluated on customer feedback including online reviews
• Review and confirm accuracy of breakout in accordance with customer contract
• Perform site prep which includes modifying the existing structure
• Carpentry work can include deck modifications, dormer installation, overhang cutoffs, wood knee wall builds, wall alterations, floor and ridge plates, and finish carpentry work
• Simple and complex decks
• Layout and cut all materials to install the job
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work site
• Install All View, ComfortView, and Solarium products
• Able to complete basic carpentry duties such as dormer attachment, fascia removal, standard fascia attachment, etc.
• Able to build simple decks as well as demolition of old rooms
• Perform service work
• Collect necessary stage payments from customers when applicable
• May be responsible for setup, take down, and repair of displays used for various outside marketing events

Qualifications

• Must complete the Apprentice Development Program
• Have a minimum of 3-6 months of in-the-field training prior to promotion

Performance Expectations

• Post-installation customer service survey, top score 90% or better
• Online reviews, 10% of jobs installed
• Responsible for crew efficiency in accordance with GDI guidelines
