Installer

Arizona-based candidates preferred. This position supports projects throughout Arizona and surrounding regions, requiring frequent travel to customer sites and mission-critical environments.

About the role

Subzero Engineering is seeking experienced Traveling Installers to support the installation of hot and cold aisle containment systems in mission-critical data center environments. This role is ideal for candidates with construction, installation, mechanical, manufacturing, carpentry, electrical, welding, or related trade experience who enjoy traveling and working in a variety of customer environments.

Responsibilities

• Install hot and cold aisle containment systems
• Perform measuring, drilling, assembly, and installation tasks
• Follow multi-step installation instructions
• Troubleshoot installation issues with the Installation Lead
• Complete assignments accurately and on time
• Maintain assigned tools and equipment
• Represent the company professionally on customer job sites
• Maintain confidentiality of customer and company information
• Follow all customer and company safety requirements
• Complete OSHA 10 and company-provided installation training
• Travel to customer sites throughout Arizona and surrounding states as needed

Requirements

• Experience working on construction sites
• Experience reading and interpreting blueprints
• Experience operating forklifts and/or scissor lifts
• Experience using hand tools, power tools, drills, and tape measures
• Installation, assembly, mechanical, manufacturing, carpentry, electrical, welding, or related trade experience
• Ability to travel regularly throughout Arizona and neighboring states
• Ability to pass a background check and drug screen
• Willingness and ability to travel extensively
• High school diploma preferred
• Strong problem-solving skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Strong work ethic and attention to detail
• Ability to follow directions and adapt in a fast-paced environment
• Strong commitment to safety

Physical Requirements

• Bend, lift heavy equipment, crawl, kneel, twist, and reach
• Use hands and fingers continuously
• Work in confined spaces
• Stand and walk for extended periods
• Travel and work at customer project sites as required

Pay

$24.00 - $25.00 per hour, plus daily per diem and paid lunches.
