Responsibilities
- Follow safe work practices and adhere to company and client worksite safety policies and procedures.
- Assist the project team with installation activities as needed.
- Proactively maintain jobsite organization and basic housekeeping: organize materials, tools, and equipment, collect debris, and address hazardous conditions promptly.
- Learn to read and interpret floorplans, drawings, specifications, and cut sheets.
- Learn about materials and methodologies for structured cabling system installation.
- Seek to understand tasks and ask relevant questions before beginning work.
- Maintain compliance with customer security requirements.
- Exhibit and maintain professional appearance and behavior.
- Travel as required: minimal overnight travel (5%) in some regions, frequent (50%+) overnight and extended out-of-town travel in others.
- Perform additional responsibilities as identified and assigned.
Requirements
- High school diploma or GED required.
- OSHA 10 certification within first 2 weeks in role.
- Experience working in Structured Cabling or related industry/construction.
- Able to read, write, and understand English.
- Able to distinguish color codes.

Work Environment and Physical Demands
The standard work environment is an indoor business office and construction site with moderate noise levels. The role requires:
- Frequent standing, walking, sitting, and use of hands and arms.
- Occasional stooping, kneeling, or climbing ladders up to 20 feet.
- Regularly lifting and/or moving up to 40 pounds; frequently lifting and/or moving up to 25 pounds.
- Ability to operate equipment such as scissor lifts, telehandlers, boom lifts, and UTVs (buggies) if required.
- Potential work in tight and confined spaces.
