Installer

About the role

As an Installer on our Service team, you will install, service, and repair commercial laundry equipment for internal and external clients while adhering to Alliance Laundry Systems quality standards, policies, and procedures.

Responsibilities

• Perform equipment and parts repair, installation, start-up, and operation to ensure customer satisfaction, following company standards, techniques, and safety requirements.
• Provide general customer service by diagnosing issues accurately, presenting findings and recommendations, and instructing clients on the usage of commercial laundry equipment after installation and testing.
• Assist with routine preventive maintenance of parts and equipment; order necessary parts to replace faulty or worn-out components.
• Write accurate reports summarizing work performed.
• Collaborate on the disassembly of equipment and parts for maintenance or repair.
• Research and place parts orders; review work orders and invoices to ensure timely ordering and deadline compliance.
• Maintain inventory of assigned company vehicle and report company expenses properly.
• Travel in a company vehicle to customer locations for on-site repairs, troubleshooting, installations, and emergency/unscheduled maintenance requests assigned by the Service Manager.
• Communicate top-level escalations to the Service Manager and contribute to best practices and process improvements.
• Perform other tasks and responsibilities as required to maintain efficient department operations.
