Job Description

• Physical Installation of Data Cabling and Associated Mounting Infrastructure
• Commissioning of Communications and Low Voltage Systems
• Supporting Site Walks to Determine Installation Requirements
• Creating Customer Proposals Based on Installation Needs
• Recommendation of Appropriate Equipment and Hardware
• Performing Some Regional and/or Overnight Travel and On-Call Hours

Preferred Qualifications

• Basic Electronics Background
• Competent Operating Basic Hand and Power Tools
• Able to Lift 50 lbs. and Work in Unusual and Sometimes Difficult Positions
• Familiarity With Personal Protective Equipment (PPE)
• Proficient in MS Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel)
• Experience Reading Blueprints and/or Logic Diagrams
• Data Cabling Experience (CAT 5/6, Coaxial, Fiber, Support Devices, etc.)
• OSHA Safety Training and Low Voltage Certifications
• Distributed Antenna System (DAS) Installation
• Valid Driver’s License

Qualifications

• Experience Installing CAT 5/6 Cable, Related Support Devices, and Terminating Coaxial Cable
• Installation and/or Repair Experience in Two-Way Radio, CCTV, Security Alarms, RF Signal Distribution, Broadband, and Low Voltage Systems
• Ability to Use Basic Tools and Test Equipment Including Hand Tools, Power Drills, Multi-Meters, and Watt Meters
• Ability to Understand Basic Wiring Diagrams and Basic DC Circuit Theory
• Ability to Work with Minimal Supervision, Keeping Up with Work Schedules, Working Under Pressure, and Meeting Deadlines for Delivering Quality Solutions on Time
• Good Communication Skills, Both Verbal and Written
• Basic Computer Skills and Proficiency with MS Excel, Word, and Outlook
• OSHA Safety Training and Low Voltage Certifications
• Valid Driver’s License
