Responsibilities

  • Technical Production: Assist with basic and advanced integration projects, understand technical processes, hardware, and software.
  • Technical Assistance: Work with Lead Installation technicians on signal flow, assist in calibrating and tuning audio and video levels, diagnose and correct signal flow issues.
  • Mechanical Production: Provide mechanical assistance, understand mechanical processes, materials, and tools, follow installation standards, and ensure hardware is installed safely.
  • Production Support: Use room check and dry-run processes, maintain a clean work environment, participate in lesson learned discussions, and report progress to the Lead Installation Technician and Production Manager.
  • Engineering and Sales Support: Maintain PPE protocol, understand document control processes, and support engineering and sales activities.
  • Other Areas: Maintain client interactions, assess site conditions, train staff, coordinate activities with subcontractors, and ensure safety training is up-to-date.

Qualifications

  • High school, trade school, or college education and/or related experience.
  • Basic knowledge and hands-on experience with AV equipment and general construction.
  • Basic knowledge of VTC, ATC, networking software and hardware.
  • Basic working knowledge of computers (Windows based).
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Ability to comprehend and apply principles of modern algebra and equations.
