Installation Technician

Primary Responsibilities

• Demonstrate a strong work ethic, professionalism, and commitment to quality in all assigned tasks.
• Install, program, and troubleshoot security systems including access control, CCTV, and intrusion systems.
• Serve as the main point of contact for field communication with project managers and customers.
• Complete field wiring, terminations, and testing in accordance with company standards and project specifications.
• Install, configure, and troubleshoot headend equipment, ensuring seamless integration with field components.
• Maintain detailed and accurate documentation of work performed, materials used, and any issues encountered.
• Adhere to all safety policies, procedures, and customer site requirements.
• Collaborate with supervisors, project managers, and team members to meet deadlines and maintain customer satisfaction.

Basic Qualifications

• Minimum 3–5 years of experience in installation and/or service of security and low-voltage systems.
• Expertise with field wiring, terminations, and headend equipment setup.
• Strong mechanical aptitude and ability to work from blueprints or wiring diagrams.
• High level of integrity, reliability, and commitment to safety.
• Ability to work independently or as part of a team in high-security environments.
• Must possess or be able to obtain necessary background clearances for secure facilities.
• Valid driver’s license and clean driving record required.
• Must possess OSHA 10 or 30

Pay and Benefits

The hourly pay range for this position is $30-$35 per hour. The starting hourly pay will be determined based on qualifications, experience, education, skills, certifications, and internal equity. We also offer a comprehensive benefits package.
