About the role
The United States Space Force (USSF) Combat Forces Command (CFC) 13th Space Warning Squadron (13 SWS) at Clear Space Force Station, Alaska is searching for an Installation/Station CES QA/PM.
Responsibilities
- Manages the Civil Engineering (CE) Quality Assurance (QA) Program and acts as a Contracting Officer’s Representative (COR)/Quality Assurance Evaluator (QAE) to oversee contracted facility operations, maintenance, and repair services in strict compliance with the Performance Work Statement (PWS).
- Leverages advanced civil engineering expertise to manage new construction, renovation, and modernization projects across multiple funding streams—including MILCON, sustainment, and Unspecified Minor Military Construction (UMMC)—while maintaining critical Quality Assurance Surveillance Plans (QASPs), inspection logs, and contract modifications.
- Serves as the Activity Management Plan (AMP) Manager to establish short- and long-range infrastructure priorities based on mission risk and life-cycle return on investment to advocate for resources at the Corporate Board.
- Serves as the vital liaison between the Commander, Contracting Officer, and key external construction and support agents—such as the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers (USACE), the Air Force Civil Engineer Center (AFCEC), and the Air Force Installation and Mission Support Center (AFIMSC)—to evaluate contractor performance, resolve complex operational deficiencies, and continuously improve surveillance methodologies.
Requirements
- Must be a U.S Citizen.
- Requires a TOP SECRET (TS) security clearance with eligibility for access to Sensitive Compartmented Information (SCI), other intelligence-related Special Sensitive information, or involvement in TS Special Access Programs (SAP) to fully perform the duties of the position.
- A non-disclosure agreement must be signed.
- This is a drug testing designated position. The incumbent is subject to pre-employment drug testing as a condition of employment, and participation in random drug testing.
- Eligible for situational telework only, including Emergency and OPM prescribed “Unscheduled Telework”.
- May be required to travel by military or commercial aircraft in the performance of TDY assignments.
- Subject to Temporary Duty Assignment (TDY): Approximately 20 days per year.
- Purchase Point of Sale (PCS) is not authorized.
- Incentive is not authorized.
