Responsibilities
- Travel to customer sites for equipment installations and service calls, providing timely, professional, and high-quality support.
- Conduct site surveys to determine optimal equipment placement and installation requirements.
- Install all necessary hardware, cables, and molding for TraXtion systems, ensuring functionality and compliance with safety standards.
- Perform diagnostic testing, troubleshoot issues, and collaborate with support and engineering teams to resolve technical challenges.
- Operate and maintain tools, equipment, and power tools (e.g., hammer drills, drill drivers) safely and efficiently.
- Document installation details, service activity, and system performance for each task.
- Provide clients with clear verbal and written instructions for equipment operation and maintenance.
- Maintain familiarity with TraXtion product lines, including hardware specifications and system updates.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent (trade school or college degree preferred).
- Minimum 3 years of experience installing, servicing, or troubleshooting technical equipment.
- Strong mechanical and problem-solving skills with the ability to work independently.
- Proficiency with PCs, tablets, and Microsoft Office applications.
- Ability to lift up to 80 lbs. and work in varied environments (indoor/outdoor, ladders, confined spaces).
- Valid driver’s license and ability to travel up to 90% (including Canada, Hawaii, and Puerto Rico).
Qualifications
- Experience with Ethernet/network systems.
- Prior experience in technical field installations or servicing electronic/mechanical systems.
- Excellent customer service and communication skills with a professional, client-focused demeanor.
