Installation Lead

Lead the installation of Pella windows and doors in residential and residential-style commercial settings. Deliver a premium experience through high-quality work and adaptability to varied project demands.

Responsibilities

• Install windows and doors in residential and residential-style commercial environments according to Pella installation guidelines and customer satisfaction standards.
• Manage an onsite install crew to ensure compliance with codes, safety requirements, and quality standards.
• Oversee time and materials to maintain project schedules.
• Communicate effectively with internal and external stakeholders to align expectations and progress.
• Supervise, coach, and develop crew members.

Requirements

• High School diploma or GED.
• 2-3 years of residential construction and/or remodeling experience.
• Clean driving record.
• Basic construction-related math skills.
• Basic computer skills.

Preferred Qualifications

• 5+ years of construction experience.
• Crew lead or supervisory experience in construction.
• General Contractor (GC) License holder.
• OSHA certification.
• Finish carpentry experience.

Work Environment

• Exposure to weather-related conditions and in-home customer environments.
• Frequent lifting and moving of heavy materials, including:
  • 8’ door panels without assistance.
  • 36” wide sashes without assistance.
  • 80 pounds from floor level several times a day without assistance.
  • Heavy oversized glass.
• Frequent work from ladders up to 30’ in the air and/or scaffolding.
• Regular requirements to sit, stand, and lift.
