About the role

The Installation Engineer works within the offshore Pipeline Engineering Department, responsible for design, fabrication, and installation in preparation for and support of offshore pipeline installation projects. As part of a highly skilled, multidisciplinary team, your focus includes preparatory work such as design, analyses, working procedures, material take-off, and offshore engineering support. The department designs permanent offshore subsea structures in line with client-defined standards in a timely and cost-effective manner.

As an Installation Engineer, you assist the project Lead Engineer in designing and implementing innovative, cost-effective engineering solutions for the preparation and safe completion of all offshore installation activities. You conduct analyses, develop procedures, perform detailed calculations and simulations using appropriate computer software, and provide hands-on support on board installation vessels during the offshore phase.

Responsibilities

Requirements

  • BSc or MSc degree in Civil Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or equivalent.
  • Graduate with a maximum of 5 years of relevant working experience.
  • Legally eligible to work in the USA (no relocation package offered).
