Installation Crew

About the role

Window World is seeking highly motivated and experienced contractors to join our team. The ideal candidate should preferably lead a 2-3 man crew to install our window and door projects.

Responsibilities

• Remove and collect old windows and/or doors to be disposed of at Window World.
• Troubleshoot unforeseen issues in the field to avoid rescheduling or extended installation time.
• Complete installation projects in a professional and timely manner, including all finishing trims, insulations, and/or caulk.
• Collect the final payment, survey, and completion certificate from the customer.
• Install energy-efficient products according to company standards and guidelines.
• Pick up pre-sold product from Window World’s warehouse and transport to customers’ homes for installation.

Requirements

• Knowledge and ability necessary for removing and installing windows and doors.
• Strong communication and customer service skills.
• Persistence and strong problem-solving and time management skills.
• Take pride in craftsmanship and finished work product.
• Have a crew of 2 or more experienced installers.
• Possess all the necessary tools to complete installations, including a proper vehicle, staging, ladder racks, a brake, etc.
• Be registered in the state of Rhode Island with the Secretary of State and the Contractors Board.
• Maintain liability, workman's comp, and auto insurance.
