Installation and Service Technician I, Entry Level - Syracuse, NY

About the role

We're hiring an Install and Service Technician I to join our growing team in Syracuse, NY and regional job sites. This entry-level role offers hands-on experience with integrated security systems and the chance to advance to Technician II.

Responsibilities

• Install and service low-voltage cabling, data racks, cameras, access control hardware, and alarm devices
• Perform cable terminations, labeling, testing, and troubleshooting under supervision
• Learn how to read and apply manuals, schematics, and wiring diagrams in real-world settings
• Assist senior technicians on projects at commercial client sites
• Maintain accurate daily work logs and jobsite documentation
• Follow OSHA regulations and company safety protocols to ensure safe, efficient installations

Requirements

• High School Diploma or equivalent (technical or vocational training a plus)
• Valid Driver's License required
• Basic understanding of wiring, hand tools, and mechanical concepts
• Strong work ethic and willingness to learn through on-the-job training
• OSHA 10 certification a plus (not required)
• Ability to travel regionally depending on assignments
