Entry Level - Install Technician I
Job Summary
The Install Technician I is responsible for proficiently installing insulation materials in various structures while ensuring adherence to quality standards, safety protocols, and project specifications.
Essential Functions
- Installation of insulation materials:
- Measure and cut insulation materials to fit specific areas according to blueprints or specifications.
- Install insulation materials, such as fiberglass, foam, or cellulose, in walls, ceilings, floors, and attics.
- Seal insulation in place using staples, adhesive, or other methods to ensure proper coverage.
- Install roof vents in attic spaces to ensure proper ventilation.
- Safety Compliance and Maintenance:
- Adhere to safety protocols and regulations while handling insulation materials and equipment.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area to minimize hazards and facilitate efficient workflow.
- Perform routine maintenance on equipment and tools.
- Driving & Vehicle Operation:
- Safely operate company vehicles in compliance with all applicable laws and company safety policies.
- Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections, report any concerns, and immediately notify management of any change to driving eligibility.
- Perform additional tasks as required.
Education & Experience
- A high school diploma or equivalent is preferred.
- Familiarity with various insulation materials, tools, and techniques is required.
- Ability to work efficiently and accurately in a team environment is necessary.
- Proficiency in reading, writing, and communicating in English is required.

Work Environment
This position is based in a warehouse, which serves as a base for many of our operations and includes equipment and material storage areas. It also involves work in and out of doors, including in attics, basements, small-confined spaces, and rooftops.
Physical Demands
- This job requires travel in a company-provided vehicle.
- While performing the duties of the job, the employee is regularly required to stand, bend, crawl, or kneel in confined spaces.
- The employee may be required to lift up to 60 pounds, and must be able to climb ladders, enter crawl spaces, and move up and down stairs safely.
