Installation 12V Technician

Responsibilities

• Install new and refurbished 12-volt electronics according to customer specifications and company protocols
• Mount hardware equipment such as cages, push bumpers, and equipment boxes
• Remove or repair defective components (e.g., blown fuses, emergency equipment malfunctions)
• Troubleshoot and maintain electrical systems; diagnose wiring, relays, lighting, sirens, and other safety control issues
• Inspect, test, and repair electrical systems; replace fuses, cables, and power distribution components as necessary
• Document installation and service activities in compliance with company policies
• Perform post-installation tests to ensure proper functionality
• Provide professional customer service
• Maintain a self-driven workflow to meet allocated build-time targets

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years’ experience – 12 Volt electronics (wiring, relays, and diodes) and disassembling vehicle interior/exterior (panels, dashboards, grilles, headlights, and taillights)
• Ability to read blueprints/schematics
• Ability to work with hand and power tools
• Capability to bend, twist, reach, and lift to 50 lbs. without assistance
• Strong Work Ethic
• Strong problem-solving skills
• Reliable and punctual attendance
• Capacity to work independently and/or in a team environment
• Energetic, personable, and positive—must work well with a diverse clientele and team; a good sense of humor is a plus
• Valid Driver’s License
• High School Diploma or equivalent

Pay

$18-$24 per hour, depending on experience

Schedule

Monday-Friday 8:00 am – 5:00 pm
