Key Responsibilities
- Review project scope, drawings, specifications, and contract requirements.
- Determine labor, material, equipment, and scheduling requirements for assigned projects.
- Develop project schedules, manpower plans, and installation strategies.
- Coverage with engineering, purchasing, fabrication, and field teams to ensure efficient project execution.
- Aid in securing required permits, inspections, and approvals.
Project Execution & Field Oversight
- Manage all phases of commercial fire alarm and life safety system installations, including new installs, retrofits, and service upgrades.
- Ensure all work complies with NFPA codes, local AHJ requirements, and Eagle Fire quality standards.
- Conduct on-site visits to monitor progress, resolve field issues, and verify installation quality.
- Identify and manage changes in project scope, schedule impacts, and potential risks.
Team Leadership
- Lead and coordinate field technicians, installers, foremen, and subcontractors.
- Provide training, coaching, and technical guidance to installation personnel.
- Foster a positive, productive, and accountable work environment.
- Promote a strong safety culture and ensure compliance with OSHA regulations and company safety policies.
- Aid in workforce planning and labor allocation across projects.
Budget & Resource Management
- Maintain accurate project records, including daily reports, change orders, RFIs, and installation documentation.
- Ensure completion and submission of required testing documentation, as-built drawings, and closeout packages.
- Support warranty and post-installation follow-up efforts as needed.
Customer & Stakeholder Communication
- Serve as a primary point of contact for customers, contractors, and project stakeholders during installation activities.
- Participate in project meetings and provide regular status updates.
- Address customer concerns professionally and promptly.
- Maintain positive working relationships with customers, vendors, subcontractors, and other trades.
Qualifications
- Experience supervising commercial fire alarm, fire protection, security, or low-voltage installation projects.
- Strong knowledge of NFPA standards, applicable codes, and installation best practices.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints, specifications, and technical drawings.
- Demonstrated leadership and team management experience.
- Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Proficiency with project documentation, scheduling, and reporting.
- Valid driver's license with an acceptable driving record.
