Summary
The Department of English is seeking a colleague with expertise in fiction writing to teach core courses in our Creative Writing Program, as well as general education offerings. Teaching responsibilities include three courses per semester to fill areas of department need.
Required Degree
Terminal - Creative Writing or related field
Minimum Requirements
- MFA or PhD in Creative Writing or related field
- Experience teaching in other genres, such as creative nonfiction or screenwriting, is highly desirable
- Strong applicants should be committed to inclusive learning practices
Desired Qualifications
- MFA in Creative Writing and/or PhD in Creative Writing or English
- Teaching and publication experience in fiction
