Inspector Operator (3rd Shift)

Nosco is looking for an Inspection Operator at our Bristol, PA facility on 2nd and 3rd shift. As an employee owner in this position, operate a rewinder/inspection asset to perform the final step of digital label production.

About the role

In this role you will produce printed roll labels to meet on-time delivery, high quality expectations, and in accordance with all customer specifications in a safe and efficient manner. You will also package all products and supplies per customer required documentation.

Responsibilities

• Actively monitor production efficiency and quality.
• Complete all documentation and reporting accurately.
• Troubleshoot machine problems as it pertains to equipment and set up.
• Perform testing as required and understand what corrective actions could be necessary to achieve passing results.
• Assist in minimizing the scope of remakes by identifying problems in a timely fashion through attributing.
• Perform clean-up and maintenance tasks in accordance with company SOP.
• Perform and sustain a high rate of productivity.
• Meet expectations for set up time and run speeds as established by the department leads.

Requirements

• Good interpersonal skills to freely communicate with all production staff.
• Good mechanical background.
• At least one year of lift truck operating experience.

Qualifications

• Twisting, turning, squeezing, grasping, reaching, reaching over equipment, kneeling, crawling, pulling.
• Extended periods of standing.
• Ability to lift 50 pounds.
• Long periods of concentration.
• Speaking, hearing, and vision are essential to performing job functions.
