Inspector, Manufacturing - Day Shift

About the role

The Inspector, Manufacturing position requires a high degree of assembling skills and techniques, along with the ability to use various measuring tools and inspection instruments. Candidates should have the ability to read, understand, and follow job orders and work procedures.

Responsibilities

• Audit and monitor quality requirements by the company’s quality policies and customer specifications
• Document and report inspection findings
• Perform accurate mechanical, physical and visual inspections of materials, components and sub-assemblies per the inspection plans and specification requirements
• Work with other company personnel to resolve inspection questions and issues
• Conduct various quality checks and tests on products to ensure that tested products fall within standards, measured specifications and tolerances
• Use various measuring/inspection instruments and safely perform work; maintain a 5-S environment
• Partner with the Engineering team to ensure compliance with blueprints and drawings
• Demonstrate and lead others in executing XPO’s core values and complying with policies and procedures
• Complete other duties and special projects as assigned by management
