Inspector (Level II Inspector - NDT - MT and PT)

About the role

Southern Tool Inspection is a fast‑growing inspection company in the Oil and Gas Industry, providing inspection services for all downhole tubular goods. They are seeking NDT Certified Inspectors with MT and PT experience for positions in Pleasanton, TX and/or Bossier City/Shreveport, LA (North Louisiana).

Responsibilities

• Clean and prepare downhole tubular tools for inspection (self or for other inspectors).

Requirements

• Experience inspecting oilfield downhole tools (BHA components, mud motors, fishing and completion tools).
• NDT Level II certification with Magnetic Particle (MT) and Penetrant (PT) methods – minimum 1 year.
• Additional certifications such as UT Shear Wave or Eddy Current are a plus but not required.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Valid dependable transportation.
• Ability to operate a tablet, laptop, or computer for reporting.
• Must pass a drug screen, physical examination, and background check.

Qualifications

• Certified NDT Inspector with documented hours of experience.
• Ethical, safety‑minded, with a “can‑do” attitude.
