Key Responsibilities
- Conduct thorough inspections of trucks and railcars, including structural integrity, safety compliance, and documentation verification
- Participate in comprehensive cross-training programs in: Railcar inspection protocols, Truck inspection procedures, Marine inspection operations (barge, vessel, and shore tank sampling)
- Ensure all inspections meet Bureau Veritas standards and regulatory requirements
- Maintain accurate inspection records and reports in compliance with company procedures
- Provide flexible support across multiple inspection areas to optimize team coverage and efficiency
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent; technical certification preferred
- TWIC CARD
- Be able to work shift work
- Must be able to work in the elements
- Ability to obtain and maintain relevant inspection certifications
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Valid driver's license with acceptable driving record
- Willingness to participate in comprehensive cross-training programs
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Physical capability to perform field inspections (climbing, lifting, standing for extended periods)
Preferred Qualifications
- Bilingual capabilities (English/Spanish)
Compensation & Benefits
Hourly Rate: $16.00 - $18.00 per hour (based on experience and qualifications)
