Inspector - Level 2 (2nd shift)

About the role

As an Inspector - Level 2 at Honeywell, you will play a critical role in ensuring the quality and compliance of aerospace components and assemblies. You will conduct detailed inspections, identify defects, and ensure adherence to industry standards and regulatory requirements to maintain the highest levels of safety and reliability. Reporting directly to the Quality Manager, you will work on-site at our Clearwater, FL location. This role impacts the safety and performance of aerospace products by ensuring all inspected components meet stringent quality standards, supporting Honeywell's commitment to excellence in the aerospace industry.

Responsibilities

• Perform detailed inspections of aerospace parts and assemblies using various measuring instruments and techniques to ensure compliance with specifications.
• Document inspection results accurately and communicate findings to relevant teams for corrective actions.
• Collaborate with engineering and production teams to resolve quality issues and improve manufacturing processes.

Requirements

You must have:

• Proven experience in inspection roles within aerospace manufacturing or a related field.
• Strong knowledge of aerospace quality standards, inspection techniques, and measurement tools.
• Proficiency in using precision measuring instruments such as calipers, micrometers, and gauges to verify product specifications.
• Familiarity with aerospace regulatory requirements and documentation practices.
