Job Requirements
- Follow all company policies, guidelines and procedures
- Utilize precision inspection equipment to qualify/verify product
- Understand the importance of Good Documentation Practices, complete Quality records accurately and legibly and file appropriately
- Be familiar with, and utilize, the organization’s ERP system (i.e., SAP)
- Perform First Article Inspections
- Evaluate nonconforming material to provide input regarding condition
- Perform data entry to support monitoring of quality/performance trends
- Perform documentation review and dimension, assembly, and color sequence verification on assembled materials
- Perform product inspections on the production floor
- Absorb and assist in programming inspection equipment as required
- Use verbal and written communication to exchange information required to complete essential duties and responsibilities
- Work with a cross-functional team to process inspection requests in a timely manner
Qualifications
- High School Diploma/GED or equivalent
- Minimum of 1 year experience working in a manufacturing environment
- Certain applicants must be U.S. citizens, nationals, lawful permanent residents, asylees, or refugees due to ITAR/EAR regulations
Skills
- Competent with Microsoft Office applications
- Detail oriented
- Ability to read and interpret prints and customer requirements
- Experience with product inspection
- Proficient with standard dimensional gages-caliper, micrometer, drop Indicator, comparator
- Proficient with Vision Systems, Digital Optical Comparator, microscopes, and other advanced measurement test equipment
- Proven effective contributor in a team environment
