Inspector Day or Night

Responsibilities

• Inspect glass for defects.
• Pack glass according to specifications for shipment.
• Ensure quality production to meet customers specifications.
• Complete required quality/production paperwork.
• Maintain line cleanliness, sweeping and shoveling glass, proper storage of tools, and emptying trash.
• Report unsafe equipment and/or conditions.
• Maintain operations at the highest standards set forth by Vitro's customers, production, and quality departments.

Pay

$18.68 per hour, plus an additional $0.50 shift differential (nights).

Schedule

Every other weekend off. 12-hour shifts.

Physical Requirements, Safety and Work Environment

• Performs duties within normal industrial environmental conditions; may encounter extreme heat or cold working conditions.
• Must be able to lift and carry up to 50 pounds.
• Must be able to push/pull, grip to use hand tools, reach, see, hear, and speak.
• Must be able to sit or stand for extended periods of time.
• Associate must always follow posted security procedures while in the building.
• Must follow all PPE requirements.
