Inspector B (Mechanical)

Responsibilities

• Perform dimensional verification of mechanical parts and develop an inspection plan using available equipment.
• Proficient with manual gaging including height gages, thread gages, pin gages, bore gages, micrometers, roughness gages, scales, etc.
• Work with Zeiss CMMs, OGP vision system, FARO arm with linear scanner, FARO laser tracker, X-Ray fluorescence material analysis, structured light scanners, and digital X-Ray.
• Use inspection software such as Solidworks, Zeiss Calypso, CMM Manager, Spatial Analyzer, Geomagic DesignX, Polyworks, and Zone 3.
• Prepare inspection reports, enter data into SAP, and prepare and preserve related documentation.

Requirements

• Graduation from a two-year day technical school or its equivalent and two (2) years' applicable experience.
• Ability to work in a team environment.
• Computer skills including Microsoft Office suite (Excel, Word, Outlook).
• Ability to develop advanced inspection skills for mission-critical components.
