About the role

Join our team at Valco Industries in Bird in Hand, PA as a Full-Time Inspector! This onsite position ensures quality and maintains our standards in the Nuclear industry. You'll showcase your attention to detail and contribute to our commitment to excellence.

Responsibilities

• Meticulously inspect precision machined products at different production stages.
• Complete documentation forms for each product inspected to ensure all quality standards are met.
• Follow established procedures for product inspection.
• Maintain a tidy work area to contribute to a safe and efficient work environment.

Requirements

• Excellent eye acuity for accurate inspection of precision machined products.
• Proficiency in using inspection instruments such as thread gauges, micrometers, and plug gauges.
• Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, for documenting inspection results and collaborating with team members.
• Good math and reading skills to interpret technical specifications.
• Ability to sit for extended periods and perform repetitive tasks.
• Manual dexterity for grasping and precision movements.
• Strong organizational and record-keeping skills.

Skills

• Good eye acuity.

• Proficient in reading, writing, and speaking English.
• Experience with inspection instruments and equipment (e.g., thread gauge, micrometer, plug gauge).
