Inspector

Responsibilities

• Perform receiving inspection.
• Perform appropriate transactions in internal systems.
• Perform in‑process inspections as required.
• Perform final QA audit of product as needed.
• Maintain receiving inspection files.
• Pull prints from files or electronic database.
• Interpret prints for measuring parts.
• Interface with Purchasing, Manufacturing, Engineering and Shipping/Receiving departments.
• Compliance with Quality Management System procedures.
• Perform other duties as requested, directed or assigned.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 3+ years in engineering, manufacturing, QA inspection, or test.
• Must be flexible in schedule and available for Saturdays and overtime as needed.
• Must successfully pass a vision examination (including near vision and color vision, if required) and be able to read small text and handwriting.
• Manual dexterity and ability to perform repetitive tasks.
• Frequent standing; ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
• Position requires extensive sitting and/or standing and good eye‑hand coordination.
• Eligibility as a US Person or a non‑US Person who can obtain any required Export Authorization.

Skills

• Knowledge and use of basic hand tools and measuring tools (micrometers, calipers, height gauges).
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
• Basic mathematics.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints, sketches, and follow written or verbal instructions.
• Strong attention to detail.

Pay

Base Salary Range: $50,000 – $53,000. Compensation is determined based on responsibilities, scope of role, candidate’s experience and education, certifications or trainings, and business and market conditions.
