Inspector

Job Title: Inspector Shift: 6am-2:30pm Job Title: Inspect metal plates and materials using precision measuring tools to verify thickness, width, length, and flatness against customer specifications. Accurately complete inspection reports for material traceability documentation (heat numbers, test numbers, and/or lot numbers). Identify and report nonconforming or out-of-tolerance materials to the lead or supervisor immediately. Maintain accurate, legible records for every batch inspected. Communicate discrepancies or quality concerns clearly and promptly. #nowhiring 1-2 years of experience in a machine shop or metal inspection environment preferred. Working knowledge of non-digital (analog/mechanical) micrometers preferred. Ability to read and interpret basic specifications, tolerances, and work orders. Strong attention to detail and accuracy in documentation. Basic math and measurement skills. Reliable and able to work independently with minimal supervision.
