Responsibilities

  • Perform production-related tasks in an FDA and cGMP regulated environment.
  • Perform routine cleaning activities and related documentation.
  • Load, unload, and pack manufactured products.
  • Utilize good documentation practices to record batch record data.
  • Perform inspections following standard operating procedures specific to assigned product line (e.g., particulate matter (PM), AQL, leak testing, dimensional, etc.).
  • Calculate batch release data (yield, rejects, etc.).
  • Complete assigned training and maintain certification requirements within established deadlines.
  • Assist other product lines or departments as needed.
  • Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED equivalent.
  • 1-3 years of related experience.
  • Must obtain and maintain required Inspector Certification/s.

Requires working knowledge of technical field/area of specialization. Exercises general application of principles, theories, and concepts. Follows established procedures and guidelines and works under direct supervision with detailed verbal and/or written instructions.

Physical Demands

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is expected to:

  • Light work - Exerting up to 20 lbs of force occasionally, and/or up to 10 pounds of force frequently, and/or a negligible amount of force constantly to move objects.
  • Lifting, Carrying, Pushing, Pulling, and Reaching:
    • Occasionally: Reaching upward and downward, push/pull, stand.
    • Frequently: Sit.
  • Activities:
    • Occasionally: Push/pull, reaching upward and downward, seeing (depth perception, color vision, field of vision/peripheral), standing, walking.
    • Frequently: Finger feeling, hearing (ordinary, fine distinction, loud—hearing protection required), sitting, talking (ordinary, loud/quick).
  • Environmental Conditions:
    • Occasionally: Proximity to moving parts, office environment, production/manufacturing environment, warehouse environment, lab environment.
  • Noise Intensity: Low.

Pay

$21.84 per hour. The targeted range for this role considers factors such as skill sets, experience, training, licensure, certifications, and business needs. Compensation decisions depend on individual circumstances.
