Responsibilities
As an Inspector/FPI Trainee, you'll play a critical role in ensuring the quality and safety of precision aerospace components. Your attention to detail helps ensure only products meeting the highest quality standards reach our customers. Responsibilities include:
- Perform receiving, in-process, and final visual inspections on aerospace components.
- Verify materials and parts match work orders and engineering specifications.
- Inspect incoming shipments and confirm accuracy against purchase orders and documentation.
- Use precision measuring tools and visual inspection techniques to verify product quality.
- Identify non-conforming materials and communicate findings to appropriate personnel.
- Complete inspection reports, quality records, and production documentation accurately.
- Work closely with Production, Quality, and Engineering teams to resolve quality concerns.
- Support continuous improvement, safety, and Environmental Health & Safety (EHS) initiatives.
- Follow all company policies, procedures, and quality standards.
- Perform additional duties as assigned.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED required.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints, drawings, specifications, and work instructions.
- Basic math skills and attention to detail.
- Experience using precision measuring equipment such as calipers, micrometers, and gauges is preferred.
- Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- One year of related manufacturing or inspection experience preferred.
- Aerospace inspection experience is a plus but not required.
